"Evenki village" in Amur Region to Greet First Tourists on July 15

The Governor of Amur Region Oleg Kozhemyako has visited the village of Pervomayskoye in Tyndinsk district where at local school the ethnographic complex "Evenki village" will function. On the eve of the opening the governor has looked around the facilities of "Evenki village", estimated how a hotel and a cultural-leisure center was furnished. The Agency of Tourism of Amur region reports on the visit.

The Governor has proposed to build a cycling route at the territory adjacent to the complex, while in winter time to provide ski tracks.

The facilities of "Evenki village" will be open to visitors from July 15, by that time a few reindeers will be brought to the complex.

The complex has a hotel for six people, tourists can also stay in choums (nomadic tent houses) and ordinary tents.

On the territory of the village a house of Evenki family is located as well as a house of hunter, a hunter dugout, storage shed, workshop and other facilities.

The ethnographic complex in the village of Pervomayskoye was built in 2012. It was receiving children of Tyndinsk district who were studying the culture and traditions of the Evenki as well as tourist children meetings.
